Mbale Tigers Soccer Academy continued to demonstrate its growing strength in youth football after an impressive outing at the Inter Academies Competition held on 12 September 2026 at Marale Play Ground.The young Tigers produced a strong all-round performance, finishing the tournament with three medals across the Under-13, Under-11 and Under-7 categories.
Under-13 Tigers Strike Gold
The highlight of the tournament came from the Under-13 team, which delivered a winning performance to claim Gold. Their success reflects the academy’s continued investment in developing young players through structured training, competitive exposure and teamwork. The Under-13 victory also provides encouragement for the academy’s long-term ambition of nurturing players capable of progressing to higher levels of football.
Under-11 Team Earns Silver
The Under-11 Tigers also enjoyed a memorable campaign, finishing as Silver medalists.Their performance demonstrated the promise within the younger age groups and highlighted the importance of giving developing players opportunities to compete, learn and grow through organized football.
Under-7 Tigers Impress
The academy’s youngest representatives, the Under-7 Tigers, added another Silver medal to the club’s collection. For these young players, the competition provided valuable experience in a competitive environment while reinforcing the academy’s emphasis on introducing children to football at an early age.
Three Medals, One Growing Academy. With one Gold and two Silver medals, Mbale Tigers Soccer Academy returned from Marale with a strong medal haul and renewed confidence in its youth development programme.
